Hotıì ts'eeda was pleased to support ten Indigenous counselling students as part of its Covid-19 bursary program. Students enrolled in the Northern Indigenous Counselling (NIC) program were offered $2500 per semester to support their studies, with an additional $1000 per semester for students with dependents. 

NIC is led by Roy and Jean Erasmus and a partnership between Dene Wellness Warriors and Rhodes Wellness College. The program is delivered in Yellowknife with the goal of helping Indigenous northerners become professional counsellors.
