Student Research

Are you a postsecondary or graduate student from the NWT?

Are you interested in northern research opportunities?

Hotiì ts'eeda is developing a registry of NWT students conducting or interested in conducting health research so that when communities come to us with research ideas and interests, we can connect them to interested students in academic departments across Canada.

Are you eligible?

Hotiì ts’eeda takes a broad view of health research—everything from environmental research to policy and governance research to traditional health and social services research can apply.

The primary purpose of this registry is to connect NWT students to NWT research opportunities. However, if you’re not from the Northwest Territories, but are interested in conducting Northern research, you may apply to be included in the registry—please specify your province or country of origin in your cover letter.

Join the registry

To be included on the registry, send your resume and a letter including your research interests, community of origin and current postsecondary institution to Rachel MacNeill at
