The Baby-Friendly Initiative Symposium 2019 will take place from October 1st to 3rd, 2019 in Yellowknife with the theme Beyond the Ten Steps: Critical Connections for Transformative Change. The three-day interactive symposium with experiential learning opportunities will investigate how health equity and social justice approaches can inform the Baby-Friendly Initiative and its implementation in Canada.  

The organizing committee is currently accepting abstracts for presentations relating to the conference theme. More information about submitting an abstract can be found here.
