Narlie is a Filipino born and raised in Yellowknife. He earned his Master of Public Health, specializing in Health Promotion, from the University of Alberta in 2020. During his graduate studies, he developed a strong passion for community work and supporting community-led initiatives.
Since returning to Yellowknife in 2020, Narlie has been actively involved in youth engagement and community development through various professional roles.
Outside of work, Narlie is a local musician who has performed at festivals such as Folk on the Rocks and the Snowking Festival. He has also facilitated songwriting workshops for youth. In addition, he remains active in the basketball community as the head coach of the U16 Ravens basketball club.
Narlie is excited to join the team and continue supporting community and youth engagement initiatives.
