Katy is a settler Canadian and evaluator who grew up in Ontario and Nova Scotia, before coming to Yellowknife in 2013. She fell into evaluation while working as a research assistant on a health impact monitoring project in northern Manitoba, and has been involved in evaluation and the north ever since. Katy has worked for non-profits, consulting firms, the Government of Canada, and the Government of the Northwest Territories. She is now a project manager with Hotii ts’eeda, working on the research and evaluation of Integrated Care Teams in the Northwest Territories. Katy holds a Masters in Public Administration and Public Policy from Concordia University, and is a Credentialed Evaluator with the Canadian Evaluation Society. She is committed to supporting equity of access, service, and supports for NWT families and communities.
