Jody Ann Zoe is a Tłı̨chǫ citizen born in Yellowknife and raised in Behchokǫ̀. She graduated from Chief Jimmy Bruneau High School, achieved an online certificate with the University of British Columbia for Reconciliation Through Indigenous Education. Jody is the former youth representative for the Tłı̨chǫ Łeàgı̨ą Tsʾı̨ı̨lı̨ Kǫ in Behchokǫ̀ and the NT/NU Council of Friendship Centres. She completed an International Aboriginal Youth Internship in Uganda, teaching English at a primary school. Jody's interest in research started when she was a research assistant at Daring Lake for the Wek'èezhìi Renewable Resources Board in 2017.
