Charlotte Evans is a Research Assistant on Hotıì ts'eeda’s Healthy Family Program Renewal Project and Integrated Care Team Evaluation. Charlotte is a Canadian citizen but was raised in France, Bangladesh, and Singapore. Her interest in health systems development and the pursuit of health equity stems from her work at FONASA (the Chilean National Health Organization), designing and implementing a study evaluating their public health system for depression care. After graduating from Dartmouth College with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography, Charlotte moved to Yellowknife and worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Circumpolar Health Research on projects such as the Lancet Commission for Arctic Indigenous Health. Charlotte is committed to aiding the development of culturally safe systems of care in the North, that are inclusive of the knowledge, and needs of all communities in the Northwest Territories.
